Background Information
I currently serve as a teacher at Paxon School for Advanced Studies. I was hired to teach Honors Economics and Honors Government in October 2005. In my time served at Paxon S.A.S. I have instructed the following subjects: Honors Government, Honors Economics, Advanced Placement Human Geography, and International Baccalaureate World Geography.
I have attended and successfully completed ESOL training, I.B. History of Americas workshop, and Advanced Placement Human Geography summer institute training. Additionally, I am certified under C.E.T. (clinical educator training).
I have served as a mentor for new teachers for a period of three years. I have received recognition as Paxon School for Advanced Studies teacher of the year for the 2009-2010 school year. I have also received Merit Award recognition for four years during my tenure at Paxon S.A.S.
It is my firm belief that all students may achieve success. Education is a field which is ever changing. As a teacher at Paxon I have demonstrated my ability to prepare students today for challenges they may meet in the future.
