- 2009-2010 Paxon School for Advanced Studies Teacher of the Year.
- 2008-2009 Merit pay recipient for teaching the course of Advanced Placement Human Geography and International Baccalaureate World Geography.

2008-2009 Teacher of the Year nominee.
- 2007-2008 Teacher of the Year nominee.
- Merit pay is awarded to those teachers whose classes scores are in the top twenty five percent in the district. Additionally a teacher must receive a highly satisfactory evaluation to be eligible for the award.
Training Achievements

2010-2011 I co-facilitated the district review for Duval County Public Schools Advanced Placement Human Geography Courses.
- I have served as a clinical educational trainer for the school years of 2008-2009, and 2009- 2010.

I have acted as a mentor for two teachers during my tenure at Paxon School for Advanced Studies. My role as a mentor began at the start of the 2008-2009 school year, and I am currently serving as a mentor for a new teacher.
